Basketball Recap: Scituate Victorious

Mount St. Charles Academy came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Scituate, but Ryan Larsh wouldn't allow it. The Scituate Spartans walked away with a 66-56 win over the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties on Saturday thanks in part to Larsh, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played.

Scituate's record is now 4-8. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Scituate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-45 loss against Cranston East on the 20th. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brewster Academy Prep at 5:00 p.m. on February 5th.
