Volleyball Recap: Foothill Triumphs

On Monday, the Foothill Mustangs beat the San Juan Spartans 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Foothill had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-17.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for San Juan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Foothill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Florin on the 5th. San Juan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mesa Verde at 6:00 p.m. on March 17th. The contest will give San Juan their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
