Soccer Recap: St. James Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Conway

There's no place like home for St. James, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Conway Tigers a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering St. James' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

St. James' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four games. As for Conway, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

As for Conway, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Conway challenge Carolina Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Carolina Forest's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
