Basketball Recap: Margaretta Snags Tenth Victory in Last 12 Games

Margaretta's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 44-26 win over the Willard Crimson Flashes. The Polar Bears pushed the score to 38-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crimson Flashes cut but never quite recovered from.

Margaretta has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Willard, they moved to 15-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Margaretta will be taking part in a tournament against Bucyrus at 2:00 p.m. on February 15th. Willard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
