Football Preview: Clearview Clippers vs. Perkins Pirates
The Clearview Clippers will head out on the road to take on the Perkins Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Clearview comes in on four and Perkins on six.
Clearview gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They pulled ahead with a 20-19 photo finish over Keystone.

Clearview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kameron Williams, who rushed for 50 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 132 yards while completing 85% of his passes. The Clippers are undefeated when Williams posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-5 otherwise. Braden Turner also helped out with an impressive 103 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Perkins was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Columbian 43-14. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 268th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Perkins found their leader in sophomore JoJo Moore, who rushed for 174 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries. Moore really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run. Levi Jackson also helped out as he racked up 113 rushing yards.
Perkins didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kaden Legando and Bryce Davie. Legando got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
The victory got Clearview back to even at 5-5. As for Perkins, their record now sits at 7-3.
