Soccer Recap: York Comes Up Short

York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Dreher Blue Devils, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, York can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 159th, while Dreher are ranked 45th).

York's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Dreher, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

York has already played their next contest (against Union County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dreher, they will face off against Lexington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lexington will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Dreher surely won't give up without a fight.
