Basketball Recap: Belleview Christian Falls Despite Big Games from Justus Cunningham and Kentrell Beasley + How To Watch

Belleview Christian lost against Denver Waldorf back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bruins fell 57-46 to the Spartans.

Belleview Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Kentrell Beasley and Justus Cunningham. Beasley almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds, while Cunningham went 5-for-10 on his way to 12 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Alex Prihodco, who posted five points and seven rebounds.

Belleview Christian's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Denver Waldorf, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Belleview Christian and Denver Waldorf will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bruins see the court they'll take on Two Roads Charter School at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2026. As for Denver Waldorf, their break will end when they face Golden View Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026.
