Soccer Recap: Valley Starts off Right with Win over Monterey Trail

Valley took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Monterey Trail Mustangs a 4-0 shutout. Valley haven't had any issues with Monterey Trail recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Valley hit Monterey Trail with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jasiel Bizarron, Edgar Calvario, Musa Minawall, and Matias Velazquez.

Coming up, Valley will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Woodcreek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monterey Trail, they will challenge Bradshaw Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
