Softball Recap: Aberdeen Eagles vs. Havre de Grace Warriors

Aberdeen extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 15 on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-10 in the process. They lost 12-0 to the Havre de Grace Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 back in March.

As for Havre de Grace, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Havre de Grace's part, Lilly Dalton made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Dalton was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

In other batting news, Bayleigh Carstetter and Kinsey Mentzer did most of the damage at the plate: Carstetter went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Mentzer went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. What's more, Carstetter posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Dayley Veres, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
