Soccer Recap: Newark Central Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Newark Central was not quite Irvington's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Blue Knights. The loss continues a trend for Newark Central in their meetings with Irvington: they've now lost three in a row.

Newark Central now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for Irvington, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4-1.
