It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Sequatchie County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They slipped by the Brainerd Panthers 82-81. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Sequatchie County's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Brainerd, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequatchie County will be home for the holidays to greet Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brainerd, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Howard Tech at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Brainerd is facing Howard Tech at the right time seeing as Howard Tech is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
