Basketball Recap: Clements Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clements played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 80-56 to the Tanner Rattlers. The defeat continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Tanner's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Freeman, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 17 points along with seven boards and five assists. Freeman has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Matthew Fletcher was another key player, shooting 46% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Clements' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Tanner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Clements and Tanner will both be playing Lauderdale County the next time they take the court. The Rattlers will head out to face the Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Colts will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
