Volleyball Game Preview: NSU University Sharks vs. Gulliver Prep Raiders + Official Tickets

The NSU University Sharks are taking a road trip to face off against the Gulliver Prep Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

NSU University heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of Monsignor Pace by a score of 3-2. The Sharks have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, NSU University sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 25-23, 20-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Gulliver Prep entered their tilt with Ransom Everglades on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Ransom Everglades. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Gulliver Prep has posted since September 19th.

Gulliver Prep wouldn't go down easily and took Ransom Everglades into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 24-26, 22-25, 15-8.

NSU University's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Gulliver Prep, their win bumped their record up to 19-7.

NSU University couldn't quite get it done against Gulliver Prep in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Sharks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
