Recap: Biggs Wolverines vs. CORE Butte Lynx
The Biggs Wolverines scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past CORE Butte 75-42 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-15.
Emilio Vera continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Brady Smith was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Biggs is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for CORE Butte, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Biggs will take on Hamilton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for CORE Butte, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Los Molinos at 8:00 p.m. Hopefully Los Molinos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
