The team relied heavily on Bentley Hardy, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Atlantic is undefeated when Hardy posts two or more runs, but 5-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ivan Sanabria, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Atlantic's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for East River, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Atlantic is taking a road trip to challenge Seminole at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Seminoles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.38 runs per game on average), something the Sharks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for East River, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Flagler Palm Coast at 6:00 p.m.
