Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hazel Park). They put the hurt on the South Lake Cavaliers with a sharp 16-1 win on Saturday. With that victory, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.
Josh Wilkowski made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wilkowski was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
