Volleyball Recap: Wilder Wildcats vs. Victory Charter Vipers
Wilder hadn't done well against Victory Charter recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wildcats won by a set and slipped past the Vipers 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wilder had a senior duo take command as Nancy Ramirez had 30 digs and seven aces and Natalie Escutia had 22 digs, 12 kills, five aces, and one block. Escutia is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelynn Perales, who had 16 digs.
Wilder was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in nine consecutive matches.
Wilder's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Victory Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
