Soccer Recap: Hartsville Has No Trouble Against Wilson

While Hartsville didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let the Wilson Tigers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Friday. That looming 11-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Foxes yet this season.

Their offense was hitting Wilson from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Abigail Thomas led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The victory made it two in a row for Hartsville and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Wilson, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Hartsville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-1 win against Conway on the 17th. As for Wilson, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Crestwood on the 18th.
