McKinney Christian Academy came tearing into Friday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 72-38 blowout they got against the Wills Point Tigers. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Wills Point still got an impressive performance from Chris James, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave James a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Walulik, who posted six points.

McKinney Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 28-1. As for Wills Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-17.
