Basketball Recap: Lustre Christian Piles Up the Points Against Dodson

The third road game was the charm for Lustre Christian, as they earned their first road win of the season. They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-17 victory over the Dodson Coyotes. The contest marked the Lions' most dominant win of the season so far.

Dodson lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tissie Webb, who posted seven points. Webb continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Lustre Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Dodson, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lustre Christian and Circle will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Dodson, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Frazer at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Frazer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Dodson likes a good challenge.
