Basketball Recap: East Central Takes a Loss

East Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels, falling 71-47. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 54-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

East Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Moose Lake/Willow River, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-12.

As of now, neither East Central nor Moose Lake/Willow River have any future games scheduled.
