Volleyball Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

Triton lost against South Johnston back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Triton actually scored more points across those five sets (109-107), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-23, 15-25, 27-29, 25-20, 15-12.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for South Johnston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-10.

Triton has already played their next match (against Harnett Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for South Johnston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against West Johnston on the 9th.
