Basketball Recap: Chaparral Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Chaparral lost against Legacy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chaparral Cowboys took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Legacy Longhorns. While the Cowboys didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Longhorns 20-12 in the first quarter.

Chaparral's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9. As for Legacy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaparral will square off against Cimarron-Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cimarron-Memorial's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. As for Legacy, they will face off against Shadow Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
