Soccer Recap: Von Steuben vs. Whitney Young
After flying high against Back of the Yards College Prep last Monday, Von Steuben came back down to earth. The Von Steuben Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Whitney Young Dolphins on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Dolphins are ranked 68th).
Von Steuben now has a losing record at 7-8-1. As for Whitney Young, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4-3.
