Soccer Recap: Sherman Comes Up Short

Sherman managed to keep up with Greenville until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Sherman Bearcats came up short against the Greenville Lions, falling 5-2. The Bearcats have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Sherman's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Greenville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Sherman duke it out with the Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walnut Grove will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Sherman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greenville, they will face off against Anna at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
