Volleyball Game Preview: Brawley Wildcats vs. Holtville Vikings + How To Watch

The Brawley Wildcats will challenge the Holtville Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Brawley not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Southwest EC with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Brawley was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Holtville got the win against Imperial on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Vikings have posted against the Tigers since October 5, 2022.

Holtville got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 31-29, 25-23.

Holtville's win bumped their record up to 17-15. As for Brawley, their victory bumped their record up to 22-12.

Brawley was able to grind out a solid win over Holtville when the teams last played on October 6th, winning 3-1. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
