Basketball Recap: Tuttle Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Tuttle and Clinton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Tuttle had to settle for second. They took a 63-47 bruising from the Clinton Red Tornadoes. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Tornadoes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Tuttle has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 16 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Clinton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-16.

Tuttle and Clinton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Tuttle will face off against Blanchard at 8:00 p.m. on Monday down 197 places (277 vs. 80). Similarly, Clinton (ranked 294th) will meet Weatherford (ranked second) at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
