Montverde Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Columbus, who was ranked first at the time (Montverde Academy was ranked seventh). Everything came up roses for Montverde Academy against Windermere Prep when the teams last played back in December of 2020, as the team secured an 83-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Montverde Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
