Basketball Recap: Honesdale Takes a Loss

Honesdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 75-55 to the Holy Cross Crusaders. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-22.

Honesdale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Holy Cross, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Honesdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Cross, they will square off against Riverside at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Riverside sitting on 16 straight wins and Holy Cross on six.
