Pee Dee Academy is a perfect 3-0 against Williamsburg Academy since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will take on the Stallions at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Pee Dee Academy made easy work of Laurence Manning Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Pee Dee Academy was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Williamsburg Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Virtus Academy on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

Williamsburg Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.

Pee Dee Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Williamsburg Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Everything went Pee Dee Academy's way against Williamsburg Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2022, as Pee Dee Academy made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
