South Bend Riley let South Bend Adams stack five runs on them in the second inning on Tuesday but luckily South Bend Riley prevailed anyway. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on CHLOE WHITMER, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of RACHEL HUNT, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

South Bend Riley's record now sits at 11-9. As for South Bend Adams, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

South Bend Riley will have a chance to go back-to-back against South Bend Adams: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
