Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maple Grove). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Totino-Grace Eagles a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Crimson as they're now sitting on three straight.

Maple Grove's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Totino-Grace, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Maple Grove will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Robbinsdale Armstrong at 4:30 p.m. The Crimson are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Totino-Grace, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-2 defeat against Blaine on the 30th.
