Basketball Game Preview: Centralia Panthers vs. Mark Twain Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Centralia has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three games.

Centralia took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 66-31 victory over Highland. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Mark Twain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 91-36 loss at the hands of Van-Far. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-21.

Mark Twain's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Centralia, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
