Basketball Recap: Vic Ceja's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Orange over Anaheim

Orange lost against Anaheim back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Orange Panthers fell just short of the Anaheim Colonists by a score of 54-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Panthers have suffered since December 22, 2023.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Vic Ceja, who posted 17 points. That's the most points Ceja has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Mark Hernandez-Chino, who had 12 points.

Orange's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Anaheim, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange will square off against Beverly Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Anaheim, they will face off against Century at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
