Baseball Game Preview: Atlee Raiders vs. Hampton Crabbers

Atlee is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They skirted past Hanover 9-8.

Meanwhile, Hampton has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.59 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 13-4 to Gloucester.

Xavier Nixon was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Peek, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Atlee's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Hampton, their loss dropped their record down to 20-2.
