Basketball Recap: Fergus Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Fergus won the last time they faced Havre, and Kason Brown did his part to make sure it happened again. The Fergus Golden Eagles blew past the Havre Blue Ponies 59-36 on Friday thanks to Brown, who went 6-for-9 from beyond the arc to rack up 21 points along with six assists and six boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points.

Lucas Golik was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds. Fergus is undefeated when Golik posts eight or more boards, but 5-7 otherwise.

Fergus' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Havre, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Fergus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-29 defeat against Dawson County on the 15th. Havre does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
