Lakeside has gone a perfect 4-0 against Mansfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Lakeside will look to defend their home field against Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. Lakeside will be strutting in after a win while Mansfield will be coming in after a defeat.

Lakeside will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run last Monday, then bounced right back against Weston on Thursday. Lakeside put the hurt on Weston with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Raleah Harris, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted over her last eight contests. Teal Austin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

Meanwhile, Mansfield came up short against North Caddo on Monday, falling 22-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mansfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Lakeside, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.

Everything went Lakeside's way against Mansfield when the teams last played back in April of 2019, as Lakeside made off with a 17-0 victory. Will Lakeside repeat their success, or does Mansfield has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
