While Lafayette Central Catholic was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 25-7.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Faith Christian walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Lafayette Central Catholic better keep an eye on Caya Stillings. She was instrumental in Faith Christian's win, getting 22 digs and three aces. Stillings is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 17 or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsey Olehy, who had seven digs and two aces.

Lafayette Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Faith Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 26-4.
