Anna Kemp made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Kemp was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other pitching news, Henderson County got a great performance from Ava Eblen as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Eblen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Henderson County was able to grind out a solid victory over Daviess County when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 7-2.
