Football Recap: St. Francis de Sales Comes Up Short

St. Francis de Sales and Lumen Christi Catholic pushed the score to 63-35 the last time they played Lumen Christi Catholic, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Knights fell 14-7 to the Titans. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 156th in Ohio, while the Titans are ranked 22nd in Michigan).

St. Francis de Sales' defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, St. Francis de Sales will look to defend their home field on Friday against Divine Child at 7:00 p.m. The Falcons' defense has only allowed 2.2 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them.
