Midland barely beat Saginaw the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chemics' pitchers stepped up to hand the Trojans a 16-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Chemics, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win snapped Midland's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-9-1 record. As for Saginaw, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Midland has already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against Heritage on the 31st. Saginaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
