Baseball Game Preview: Beaverton Beavers vs. Aloha Warriors

For the second straight game, Beaverton will face off against Aloha. The Beavers will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Beaverton's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Aloha's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Beaverton and Aloha had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Beavers skirted past the Warriors 2-1.

For Aloha's part, Hayden Grot was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Grot has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Aloha dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Beaverton, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
