Softball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Anderson can now relate to. They lost 12-0 to the Yreka Miners on Friday. The Cubs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 11 in a row.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 8-16-1. As for Yreka, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-13.

Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yreka, they will take on Lassen at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Miners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Grizzlies have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
