Anderson won the last time they faced West Clermont and things went their way on Friday too. The Raptors blew past the Wolves 49-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raptors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Wolves are ranked 85th).

Owen Scalf was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 351 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Those 351 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tegan Jallick, who picked up 125 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Anderson's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Landen Edwards refused to say out of the backfield, picking up a sack all by himself. Another thorn in West Clermont's side was Brady Kuhn, who picked up 0.5 sacks and made 14 total tackles (3.5 for loss).

Anderson has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 17 points this season. As for West Clermont, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
