Baseball Recap: Douglass Takes a Loss

Douglass managed to slip by Kingman the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 9-2 to the Eagles on Thursday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for Kingman, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Douglass is taking a road trip to challenge Trinity Academy on Monday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kingman, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Pratt.
