Basketball Recap: Pojoaque Valley's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Pojoaque Valley's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Santa Fe Demons by a score of 27-18. This was a revenge game for the Elks/Elkettes: when they faced off against the Demons back in December of 2024, they had to take a 46-33 loss.

With the victory, Pojoaque Valley broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6. As for Santa Fe, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pojoaque Valley will take on Hope Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Fe, they will square off against St. Michael's at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
