Basketball Recap: Prior Lake Christian Takes a Loss

If Prior Lake Christian was riding high fresh off their 77-25 takedown of St. Cloud Christian on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Prior Lake Christian Royals took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty Christian Eagles on Saturday. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Prior Lake Christian still got an impressive performance from Elijah Wilson, who posted 14 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Micah Lindsey was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Prior Lake Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Liberty Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Prior Lake Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-49 win against Lake Region Christian on the 15th. Liberty Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
