Soccer Recap: Will Carleton Academy Starts Season with Draw on the Road

Will Carleton Academy was not able to secure the win in their season-opener on Wednesday. They and the Quincy Orioles finished up their match with a 2-2 draw. The outcome might've been different if David Maier hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Wesley Charleville and Theodoric Davis scored both of Will Carleton Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Will Carleton Academy will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Bellevue at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
