Basketball Game Preview: Samson Tigers vs. Cottonwood Bears + How To Watch

Samson hasn't had much luck against Cottonwood recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Tigers will host the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Samson took a blow against Providence Christian, falling 65-29. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while the Eagles are ranked 60th).

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Cottonwood and Houston Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bears were outmatched by the Raiders and fell 54-23. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cottonwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Samson, their loss dropped their record down to 14-14.
