Softball Recap: Edward Little Comes Up Short

Edward Little and Hampden squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Edward Little had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-3 to the Broncos, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Red Eddies' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Edward Little's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Hampden, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Edward Little does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hampden, they will square off against Oxford Hills at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Broncos 2.9, the Vikings 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
